Mand: Baloch Freedom Fighters of BLF has attacked a police station in Mand killing one police officer and injuring another. According to details a hand grenade was hurled into a police station on Friday, as a result two one constable Faiz Mohammad died at the spot and Mohammad Ayoub sustained serious injuries.
Basham Baloch spokesman of BLF claimed the responsibility for the attack on police station. Mr Basham Baloch further said that Baloch Sarmachaar are fighting against the occupying govermnet forces whereas the government agencies are killing and arresting innocent citizens of Balochistan.
Meanwhile the police have arrested eight people after Friday prayers. All the arrested have been shifted to Turbat. According to source they have been accused to creating public disorder and stoning police cars during protest rallies.
On the other hand BRP’s spokesperson Mr Sarbaaz Baloch said that they have attacked a convoy of government contractors at Doli check post on Punjab Balochistan border. Mr Sarbaaz described the contractors as the government collaborators. He said two of the contractors had been taken hostage first but were released after they assured that they will not collaborate with the government again.
Mr Sarbaaz further said that BRP will not let anyone to exploit Baluchistan’s national wealth. He requested to all Pashtun and Sindhi leaders and the public that they should stop working for the government companies in Dera Bugti and elsewhere in Balochistan and stop being a part of government machinery else they will be not be spared.
The Baloch people in Iran are going through the hardest time in their history. They have been systematically oppressed, discriminated against and deprived of proper education. There are 3.5 million Baloch and Iran and there has not been even one single high official in the country in the last 30 years.
1. The life cycle in Baluchistan and Balochi areas is 15 years less than average in the country.
2. The official unemployment rate is more than 72 percent.
3 76% of them live under absolute poverty line.
4. While Baluch have the highest IQ in the country according to United Nations, they have the least educated people in Iran.
5. There is seven hundred academic staff in Balochistan universities and only ten of them are Baluch. While these 10 persons have educated themselves, the rest have been given scholarships to study in Iran or outside.
6. They are oppressed on a daily basis and humiliated in their own cities in the way that has never happened before.
7. The number of Baloch people who have been killed or executed by the Islamic governments are more than the total number of other people who have been killed in Iran.
8. Even in the invasion of Mongols, so many Baloch have not been killed.
9. The Baluch are Sunnis and their mosques have been destroyed many times.

Pakistan and Iran helping Sri Lanka crush Tamil Movement; Trying to impose a Psychological impact on Baloch National Struggle??!!
Sri Lankan leader Mahinda Rajapaksa has declared the country "liberated" from Tamil Tiger rebels after a 26-year war. The Government claims to crush the movement after a long deadly war in which hundreds of thousands of people lost their precious lives. We pay our condolences to the families of those who lost their lives. May their soul rest in peace..
Tamil Tigers were playing a role of a wound on the Sri Lankan establishment's chest, discomforting them from one way to another. Velupillai Prabhakaran, the founder and the leader of LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam), was leading this movement for 26 long years. Tamil Tigers were military-wise very strong consisting all three main forces i.e. The Air Force, The Naval Force and The Ground Force as well. But, unfortunately they were heavily strike by the Lankan Forces in the past days which made the Tamil Movement to raise the flag and loosing inspiration stating "We have decided to silence our guns. Our only regrets are for the lives lost and that we could not hold out for longer".
As we all know Pakistan and Iran are a great alley of Sri Lanka. Pakistan and Iran have been helpingSri Lanka in all manners to crush the Tamil Movement. They haveplayed a crucial role in the death of the Tamil Tigers. Accordingto well placed sources, it was exactly a year ago in the first week of May 2008 that Sri Lankan Army Chief Lt-Gen Fonseka came to Pakistan and held detailed talks with his Pakistani counterpart Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani to finalize the purchase of high tech arms for the Lankan armed forces, which were embroiled in an intense battle with the LTTE forces even at that time. During his talks with Pakistani military authorities, Lt-Gen Fonseka had finalized a deal as per which Pakistan sold 22 Al-Khalid tanks to Sri Lanka in a deal worth over US$100 million. Many such other deals came into place.
On Jan 19, 2009, in a meeting between Pakistani Defense Secretary Lt-Gen (retd) Syed Athar Ali and his visiting Lankan counterpart Gotabhaya Rajapakse in Rawalpindi, the two countries had agreed to enhance cooperation in military training, exercises and intelligence sharing regarding terrorism. The agreement came amidst Sri Lankan media reports that the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) pilots had participated in several successful air strikes against several military bases of the LTTE in August 2008. These reports further claimed that a highly trained group of the Pakistani armed forces officers is stationed in Colombo to guide the Sri Lankan security forces in their counter-insurgency operations against the LTTE. The Pakistan Air Force officers have reportedly been guiding the SLAF officers in effectively carrying out air-mounted operations against the LTTE.
While on the other hand, Iran has been helping Sri Lanka financially by providing low-intrests credit to Sri Lanka to enable it to purchase military equipment from Pakistan and China to train its army and Intelligence officers in Iran.
Both Pakistan and Iran are well known today for their cruel genocide of Baloch Nation. In reply to this genocide, They are facing heavy resistance in their occupied parts of Balochistan. Baloch National Struggle is getting stronger day by day. It has reached in local Baloch's mind and struggle's voice can be heard in everyBaloch hut. Local people are overwhelmingly supporting the National Struggle. Similarly, Both the countries are making their Baloch genocide policies tougher day by day. In Pakistan, New tactics of modern genocide are being used against Baloch. But still they have failed to harm the thought of a Liberated Balochistan in Baloch's mind.

Pakistani Government with the help of its Intelligence Agencies and Military, tried to crush Baloch National Struggle in all manners;
1. Assassinating Baloch Nationalist Leaders brutally,
2. Kidnapping Baloch women and still holding them in its torture cells making them sex-slaves,
3. Hiring local infamous Politicians and showing them as Baloch Nationalists, dictating them and giving them high protocol.
4. Using heavy chemical weapons in its military operations which are still going on...
5. Trying to dilute Baloch Issue with the Taliban's and show Baloch a part of Taliban War,
6. Using its most of the US given funds and weapons against Baloch People,
7. Neglecting Baloch IDPs (internally displaced persons) by letting them die starving or not letting any Humanitarian Activist Agency helping them,
8. Working hard on new propaganda to show the Baloch National Struggle as Terrorist Movement..
These are just a few ways Pakistani Establishment is trying to stop Baloch from asking its rights on its own land. Recently, A Baloch local singer was abducted by the Pakistani Intelligence Agencies and was made swallow acid which tore his whole throat. He was accused of singing revolutionary songs. He was released later on.
If we look at the behavior of Iran's establishment towards Baloch Nation in Iran occupied Balochistan, an article might not be able to complete a 0.1% of the real current situation there. It has been carrying out several operations in the Baloch areas. Iran and Pakistan have been involved in all kinds of Humanitarian Violence in Balochistan. The only proof needed in Iranian Balochistan to hang a person on a crane's hook publically, is to be a Baloch. They might hang you along some others in a fine morning just because they don’t like you as a Baloch.
Pakistan condemns Drone attacks saying it is a violation of its soveriegnty. Pakistani national media covers the Drone attacks very fluently. According to very reliable sources, It is very often that Iranian forces enter Pakistan-Iran border and carry out their military operations brutally killing local Baloch and returns back to Iranian boundary. These reports can only be seen in local news whereas national media is so quite on these violations. Isnt this clear violation of Pakistan's sovereignty? There is an unholly and hidden allaince between Pakistan and Iran.
Here, the question arises, Pakistan and Iran helping Sri Lanka crush Tamil Movement; Trying to impose a Psychological impact on Baloch National Struggle??!!
Baloch and Tamil are two different issues. First of all, Tamil's struggle is a seperatists movement whereas Baloch's struggle is entirely a liberation movement. Balochs are fighting for their own homeland. Balochistan is Balochs native homeland. Balochs are living in Balochistan from thousands of years. Balochistan was forcibly occupied by the Pakistan Military. Whereas, if We go through history we can find that the Tamils aren't the real natives of the area they claim. Anyways, that isn't our issue today.
Baloch National Struggle got unanimous popularity among local Baloch in past few years. Mass Parties have been working hard for this. Balochistan is very rich in minerals and natural resources. Balochistan is very important geographically for the West which makes Baloch issue willingly or unwillingly important for the world.
Should Baloch National Struggle lose its hope because of Tamil's Defeat who were having a much stronger resistance movement than Balochs?
The answer to this question is NO!
The current situation of Pakistan differs a lot from other parts of the world. Pakistan is stuck in its own created war.Lets go through the following points:
1. Pakistan is now facing heavy resistance from the Taliban in the Taliban controlled areas.
2. Internal situation of Pakistan can be judged by the every other day ongoing suicide attacks.
3. The border situation can get worse at anytime.
4. It is facing heavy resistance from the Baloch Freedom fighters as well.
5. Think Tanks around the world are sharing their thoughts about Pakistan that it may collapse at anytime.
6. The West is worried about the nuclear assets of Pakistan going into wrong hands.
7. Pakistan's own 81% of population is worried about the country's future.
These few points make Pakistan World's most troubled country.
China has kept its both eyes on Balochistan which is the part of China's cold war plan. US given most sophisticated weapons to Pakistan are being used in Balochistan inorder to protect Chinese intrests. Therefore, to solve the main problem (Pakistan), the West has to concentrate on Baloch Issue.
QUETTA:The leaders of the Baloch National Front have said that the political parties which believed in parliamentary politics were deceiving the Baloch people and working for the establishment.
They were speaking at a public meeting in Panjgur Bazaar held recently to mark the chehlum of Baloch leaders Ghulam Muhammad Baloch, Lala Munir Baloch and Sher Muhammad Baloch who they alleged had been killed by intelligence agencies.
Hasa Zafar Baloch, Khalil Baloch and Zahid Kurd said they would not hold dialogue with the government for resolving the Balochistan issue.
They demanded a UN probe into the murder of the three Baloch leaders and said the Baloch had no confidence in the local judicial commission.
They said the BNF would not allow the so-called nationalists to play with the destiny of the Baloch people who knew that who were their real representatives and who were agents of rulers.
They said that Nawab Akbar Bugti, Balaach Marri and hundreds of others had sacrificed their lives for ‘freedom’ of the Baloch people.
Balochistan: Wahid Qamber Baloch and Fazal Kareem Baloch's sister and niece while addressing a Press conference in front of Turbat press club said that Abdul Wahid Qambar Baloch, along with his two mates Fazal Kareem Baloch and Nako Faiz Baloch, was abducted at gunpoint from his native twon thump (Makuran) on March 14, 2007, by the secret agencies and FC.
After 9 months agony and inhuman torture of their arrest on April 21, 2008 they were then given in the custody of bordering town of Panjhpai police and the police have put Qamber Baloch on two days remand. The then IGP was pressurised by MI to lodge fake cases of keeping drugs and illegal arms against Abdul Wahid Qambar but he refused, after Chief Minister Balochistan told the IGP not to lodge any false cases against Mr Qamber Baloch. In fact they released Nako Faiz after sever torture and humiliation at the hand of Pakistani intelligence agencies. (It must be noted that Nako Faiz Baloch has now been abducted for the third time on May 3rd 2009, and he’s still missing). Wahid Qamber and Fazal Kareem were taken into custody on April 28, 2008 by the CID Quetta. Both the men once again suffered inhuman tortured by the Pakistani intelligence agencies.
They were then shifted to Turbat from Quetta on May 6, 2008 and then moved to District Jail after a short hearing in an ATF court on the same day. “We visited him and Fazal Haider in Trubat jail, they were very week, and they had obvious sings of torture on their bodies and suffering from diseases” recalls Qamber’s daughter Sahri Baloch. Instead of a medical check up he was put in the jail for over a month where his health further deteriorated. He then was shifted to ATF Jail Quetta again on June 8, 2008 without giving him any notice and all the fake cases against him were also transferred in Anti Terrorist Court-1, Quetta.
Interestingly, he was acquitted of all cases except FIR no 6 in which he was sentenced to jail for 25 years. We, however, lodge an appeal against the sentence in Balochistan High Court which was succeeded and the respectable judge of High Court asked the ATC-1 to reopen the case and restart the proceedings, she added.
Ironically, the ATC court, which was asked to decide the case in three weeks time, had given my father into police custody on remand by violating high court’s orders, she told. “While, it is the national and international law that the prisoners during a trial in court could not be given into police custody on remand,” she added. The ATC judge under pressure from the intelligence agencies has handed her father to the police on physical remand once again. “The police and the agencies have no prove against my father in the false FIR 6, that is why they pressurised the judge to give my father to the intelligence agencies on physical remand” she added.
Shari said that her father with the help of torture in the name of remand would be coerced to accept committing crimes which he did not commit. She said it was more likely that he would be murdered in the custody of intelligence agencies like other Baloch leaders Ghulam Mohammad, Lala Munir, and Shair Mohammad who were abducted during their trial and from their lawyer’s office in broad day light. They too were killed in cold blood. “I fear same will happen to my father” she said.
The family members of Wahid Qamber and Fazal Kareem have appealed to the United Nations, ICRC, International Human Rights Commission, Asian Human Rights Commission and other organisations to help her in her father’s release.
They announced to go on a week’s strike from May 20 in front of Karachi Press Club against the remand and arrest of Abdul Wahid Qambar and Fazal Kareem. Wahid Qamber’s and Fazal Kareem’s sister and nieces are on strike at Turbat Press Club from May 19 (today). They warned that if their loved one are not released, they would take any harmful step and the responsibility would solely be relies on Balochistan Governor, Balochistan Chief Minister, and heads of secret service meaning intelligence agencies.
Quetta: Baluchistan’s local news papers and sources from the jail reported that Baloch leader Wahid Qamber is seriously ill from last few months. He has stopped eating food and the jail authorities are not providing him with any medicines. His health is deteriorating day by day. Reports said that he lost weight and is very weak. He has not yet been medically checked to diagnose his illness.
Source from the jail reported that Mr Qambar Baloch needs to be admitted in an outside hospital for proper treatment. His friend and family members are very concerned about his health. They said that Wahid Qamber must be given the opportunity for his treatment.
Warning the government and the jail authorities they said that looking after Mr Qambar’s health and safety is the responsibility of the jail authorities and the relevant government agencies who have arrested him. “if anything happened to Qambar in prison the provincial government and the personals of intelligence will be held responsible”, they warned.
They however appealed to the National and International human rights organizations to put pressure on Pakistani authorities to immediately release Wahid Qambar.
These are the pictures of a few of hundreds of thousands of IDPs (Internally Displaced Persons) in Balochistan. The main reason these people lack any help from any of the Humanitarian Organisation is the discrimination and genocide of Baloch people by Pakistan. These are the clear pictures of modern age Genocide. These people were forced to leave their houses and lands because of the ongoing military operation in Balochistan by the Pakistani Forces.
You would have given these pictures higher priorty if someone from you was suffering from the same condition. But, unfortunately the International community is silent on these humanitarian violences. Baloch is the unknown victim of today's War Against Terror. Its so clear that these people are being so ill treated and neglected because they belong to a nation who is asking for its right and whose movement is entirely a non-religious and a non-extremist movement.
Pakistan's main export to the world is Highly Trained Terrorists, Extreme Religious Fundamentalists and other materials which are threatening the world peace in one way or another. Nowadays, Pakistan is trying to impose its own created war on Balochistan by showing the Baloch National Struggle as a terrorist movement to gain world's sympathy and carry on the genocide legally to crush the voice of local Baloch. In Order to save world from all kinds of Terrorism, International Community should act immediately to cut the roots of terrorism which are directly linked in Pakistan. Therefore, Pakistan should be divided as soon as possible before its Nuclear Assets are grabbed by Taliban or other terrorist organisations.
